New Tanning
Beds vs. Used -
Buying used tanning beds is similar to
purchasing any other product or appliance that
has been used before. The obvious advantage when
looking at buying a used product is the lesser
cost of the used item, however there are various
pitfalls whenever you choose to purchase a
second hand product.
For example, say you bought a used car.
Everything seemed great until you discovered
that the car creates an ominous and disturbing
sound each time you drive it. Whenever you buy
something used, tanning bed or not, you run the
risk of getting ripped off so here’s a few tips
to help you save money and buy quality used
tanning beds.
First, check the main features of the tanning
bed. Make sure they are in working order and any
malfunction is not a good sigh. Ask questions
including ‘can the lamps and acrylic sheets be
changed and removed easily?’
Another important thing to ask is why the
tanning bed is being sold by its owner. If
he/she explains it’s because a timer or bulb is
defective, move on and consider another offer.
Keep these tips in mind and use common sense and
you’ll be in good shape! Good luck and have
shopping!
