Lie Down Tanning Beds -
When looking to purchase a tanning bed or decide
what type of tanning bed you’ll be using there
are several things to consider.
First off you’ll need to decide on the type of
tanning bed you’ll use. You have two choices
here: tan booths (stand up beds) or horizontal
beds (lay down). Most home units are tan booths
because they require much less space and it’s
easier to place them into areas that have
limited room.
Next, you need to decide what type of bulbs you
want in your bed. There are two different types
of bulbs found in tanning beds: conventional
bulbs and high pressure bulbs. High pressure
bulbs are used for commercial use and can be
found in professional salons.
Tanning beds that utilize high pressure bulbs
will allow you the user to tan faster in shorter
amounts of time. To sum it up, you’ll get a much
better overall tan in half the time and with
half the UV ray exposure. The pressure bulbs
only downfall however, is that the bulbs are
only located on the top of these beds so you can
only tan one side at a time
